Today is the day! Now is the time! ‘For what?’ we may ask. The answer to that is the reason to get up each morning. We are called to look around with wide and grateful eyes. We are compelled to engage the world with open minds, and more importantly with open hearts. We do not know who or what we will encounter each day, but we can be prepared to receive and process it. Let us be excited by each new day, in spite of the challenges we may face. For each day is opportunity anew to praise and bless, to love and laugh, to receive and give.
